I'm more of an XFCE fan myself too. I'm probably going to stick with 10 on my desktop since there are times I need to use software on Windows that won't work under wine.

I've never tried that program before but a new thermal paste application and a cleanup of where the fan meets the heatsink would make a good difference.

GNOME's fine... Didn't seem to be the worst for me but it is going to be something that i'll have to get used to. I've used LXDE (RIP) and XFCE for years.

So that's why the damn bug existed in Vista.... Microsoft has totally gone downhill since Windows 8.1. Might consider switching to Pop OS on my main setup. Windows 10 is a convoluted mess of an operating system, but at least it wasn't as awful as Windows ME... Fuck that one.
