It's unrelated to your issue, the native element was rendered wrong in 125rc1.

Program that back or forward ports functionality between Windows versions

I remember something being wrong with My Computer folders and WinAero Tweaker. I forgot what it was, but now I remember, the folders are stuck at the bottom and I can't figure out how to move them to the top. I knew removing external devices was some sort of registry tweak, but since this tool would...

Improved Aero Snap and backported to XP

I've decided to split some ideas from the contributing post into their own topic, so I can better explain them in a single contained post. This is the Aero Snap replacement. I would really appreciate it if a program like this was made. It would improve the usability of older/newer Windows versions a...

The future idea for r3dfox is to remove telemetry while still having similar privacy settings to stock Firefox as to not break website compatibility. I guess they would be kinda different, but only different as in one has a good user js config stock and the other is default.

I guess I could ask him to make a 124.0.3 based Librewolf release, or I could just add the Librewolf patches to r3dfox to invalidate the need for it.

That's the behavior in 115 ESR, the right click context menu is white, styled after the native Windows one. The menus in settings have the correct black background in 115 ESR.

Yeah I need to get around to fixing those menus, but I'm not entirely sure what they are. Probably going to tackle them with 125. Translate being gone might be related to removing telemetry, but not sure. I would need to see how stock Firefox and Mercury behaves. Yeah r3dacted is a bit of a meme, I ...

Unable to find any difference between SSE2 and AVX2 in any browser

I looked at my 2020 Windows 7 ISO, and it appears to have microcode from 7 SP1. Unless late 2010 microcode has some sort of performance decrease, it shouldn't be that.

Bonus testing: This was testing of me testing tuning settings. Tune and ztune are settings that optimize for the Athlon 64. I was testing to see if it benefited only the Athlon 64 or more processors. These scores aren't directly comparable to the above due to me not compiling with PGO. P4 524 r3d st...

Unable to find any difference between SSE2 and AVX2 in any browser

For release r3dfox, I was wanting to build x86 SSE2, x64 SSE3, and x64 AVX or AVX2. Three builds that offered the best performance for their category. When it came to picking AVX or AVX2, I wanted to see which had the best benchmark scores. I started by taking Mercury 115 ESR SSE3, SSE4, AVX, and AV...

Since it's Discord, if you just post the link in it, it adds the tracking details needed for it to be valid again, and then it works for a week or so. I did that and am just reuploading it here.

DX12U, more updates, iTunes (for some fucking reason), some games. People asked the same question about W10 when it first came out compared to 7 and most software straight up abandoned 7 today. So in around a year or so, software will start dropping 10. People are now starting to drop support for 1...

I guess, but afaik 22H2 has more stuff like DirectStorage and optimizations for Intel 12th gen and later. I think 22H2 would be the better base unless these can be or were backported to 2021 IOT LTSC.
