RiiConnect24 and Wiimfii (Wii)

I recently got ahold of a Wii and I've been having a lot of fun with it. Homebrew stuff is pretty neat. With RiiConnect24 and Wiimfii, all of the Wii's online services can be accessed in full. One of my favorite things about it is Wii messaging. You can send emails to and from a Wii using RC24 in 20...

My theory as to why Microsoft is attempting to force TPM 2.0 as a requirement for Windows 11

Or some OEMs paid Microsoft to make their new OS only be compatible with newer machines so people would go out and buy new computers.

The final version of the XP x64/Server 2003 x64 extended kernel

I hope one day we have an XP extended kernel that's as good as Vista's extended kernel, being able to main it would be an absolute dream come true.

My theory as to why Microsoft is attempting to force TPM 2.0 as a requirement for Windows 11

Windows 11 hardware requirements are absolutely cursed. Why does it require a webcam, for example? There's absolutely no reason why you should need a webcam in order to install Windows 11. Seems like Microsoft wants to get to know you a bit more.

Need help with installing Windows XP from a USB using Ventoy

Windows XP hates installing from USB, you're best off getting a USB CD-ROM drive and installing it from CD-ROM. That's how I install XP.

Whats the best Email provider?

There's a reason Google, Microsoft, etc. are all free. It's because you're the product. They're harvesting your information. If you want an email provider who doesn't, either set up a mail server yourself (probably the best idea) or find a privacy oriented provider that'll probably charge you. (Repo...

Re: Wanting to see how Firefox 3.6.28 works

Back on Ungoogled Chromium now. Here's a screenshot of IE6's broken UI: https://i.imgur.com/zrUjeX1.png And here's something suprising, the page actually loads on IE3 of all things, granted it's plain HTML and going to any link doesn't load anything, but the index page does indeed work! https://i.im...

Re: Wanting to see how Firefox 3.6.28 works

Now posting from IE7. The site looks correct now. Still only works with HTTP. Not gonna bother testing IE8 onward, since those will obviously work.

Re: Wanting to see how Firefox 3.6.28 works

I'm posting this from IE6! Unfortunatley it seems as if CRMX beat me to it... As they said, it's pretty broken and only works with HTTP, but otherwise it's pretty fast and works. I'll post some screenshots from a modern browser soon.

Re: Wanting to see how Firefox 3.6.28 works

I'll have to try this with an old browser at some point myself, to get that authentic 2000s forum experience. I wonder what the oldest IE version is that will support this.

Re: Netbooks

I have one that originally came with Windows 7 Starter, it was extremely slow. Lubuntu worked a bit better on it though. I think I installed XP on it for fun, but never ended up using it.

Re: Chromium Support

It's almost certain. 8.x was unsuccessful just like Vista was, so it'll probably have support pulled at the same time as 7 if history is doomed to repeat itself.
