I also suggest updating your BIOS.
Ive had the very same problem when i tried installing 7 using the same ISO on my gaming laptop.
After BIOS update Windows 7 would boot perfectly fine

Around the time of 45-52 ESR and leading up to the Quantum release they cut off all their funding, told them to go find another home and effectively fuck themselves. Now they only have one or two active maintainers. Goddammit thats such an asshole move. Why dont more people talk about this? Im pers...

Arent there any newer versions of 360Extreme? Like, doesnt Version 21 or so already exist? This post was made ages ago and OP was banned. I presume that later versions are incompatible with XP. Ive managed to find that new Version. The particular installation ive got my hands on is based off Chrome...

Pretty important and something I have not seen discussed on the forum yet. They plan to cut off for both 7 and 8.1, which (of course) affects Win8, convenient they can't class this as a separate OS, just a repeated of Vista situation from years ago. Are there any plans to track and archive the curr...

Method to create offline account on Windows 11 Pro
To my knowledge you can create a Windows 11 offline account on Home Edition by standard. However, Microsoft stated, that you cant create an offline account on Windows 11 pro, but you actually can. During device setup, when setup asks you for your email, type in the following email: a@a.com This is a...

There are many other alternatives for chrome that will also support Windows 7 for quite some time in the future. Keep it up, bro, every Windows 7 machine counts to increase market share. I use Firefox, and for Chrome users there might be ways of getting Chrome to run on 7 after the end of support. ...

[GUIDE] [DISCUSSION] [LIST] Windows 7 on modern hardware with UEFI.
I dont really see that many benefits from running Windows # on UEFI besides larger drive support. Neither do i care about secure boot, nor do i care about the so called "Fast boot" feature that some UEFI's have. Legacy mode is totally fine, if available. However, for those people, who dont...

Nevermind i found out how. You need to navigate to a hidden file in the C: folder in Windows 98. (first make hidden system files visible by navigating to View<Folder options<View (select tab) and check "Show all files and folders" under the "Filed and Folders" category. Then navi...

I just freshly intalled Windows 98 in a VM and installed Autopatcher 2007 right away.
Now the boot animation is gone and during boot only a DOS prompt is shown.
Is there a way to fix that and bring back the boot animation?

I feel that Windows would be significantly better if 8 was another slight improvement with various optimizations under the hood. We can see some of the improvements with less background processes and slightly faster performance than 7, but if they just never focused on metro or flat design or table...

Cortana can be removed from Windows 10!? Whats the catch?
So according to this article, Cortana can be removed completely from Windows 10 since 2004.
What is the catch tho.
If they remove Cortana they much have implemented spying somewhere else.
