Is it worth keeping an old 1280 by 1024 monitor that I have or should I buy an new monitor?

Back in 2018, I got a 24" S-IPS 1920x1200 HP LP2475w with a March 2013 manufacture date sealed in the box. With it a lightly used VA 1600x1200 HP LP2065. With the monitor arm, I spent like $65 total. God bless that ebay seller lmao. You can pry 16:10 from my dead, cold fingers 8-) I wish I had...

I once bought a Dell monitor, after I plugged it in, I heard a loud bang, but the monitor still came on, then like a second later, it turned back off.

Fixing Discord font on Vista (and possibly older)

If you've ever used Discord on Vista with Firefox, one of the first things you'd notice is that the font is kinda scuffed. 4's and E's are missing a line and there are other odd looking characters, however, I've found a fix for this. How to apply the fix: If you're using Waterfox Classic or older us...

Or just main 7 with a 10 VM.
Iris Heart is Windows 10

I'm more of an XFCE fan myself too. I'm probably going to stick with 10 on my desktop since there are times I need to use software on Windows that won't work under wine. Windows 7 ISOs updated to 2020-01 and 2016-09 with USB 3 and NVMe drivers

out of curiosity what's the point of having a 2016-09 ISO? It's around/before some common points people update to, 2017-08 and 2017-12 are some I've seen, so if anyone wanted those, they don't need to make another ISO. I used to use the 2016-09 ISO. Does CSM/Legacy mode work for GPT drives? The idea was to put the SSD into GPT to maximize its capabilities via UEFI for NVMe. It current has the exact same OS I'd installed via your ISO, then transitioned over to GPT format. Couldn't install directly to the SSD, because the install wouldn't detect...

Hello all, I have a Samsung SyncMaster 740N 17 inch monitor with a resolution of 1280 by 1024, which I am doubtful of whether to keep or sell to buy another monitor. Use Rufus 2.18. Strange that it shouldn't work given I've never had issues with it messing up on my end. Make sure it's in BIOS/MBR mode though or there might be issues I'd imagine. (Btw, welcome. Windows Vista bootable USB installer?

You'll have to use Easy2Boot, using standard Rufus doesn't work because the Vista boot.wim is kinda fucky, and 7+ boot.wim files have issues. If this is not an option, you could try deploying the install.wim with ImageX or DISM, but I haven't tried this, and it might cause some issues of its own. Al...
