I'm sorry to hear you don't have help with your new project, I hope that changes. But, yeah, spite is powerful ;) I will say there are some contributions from others like Alex313031, florin, wanderer, and probably some others, but I'm basically doing 98% of the work of getting it to work on 7. Wish...

As basically the only person to consistently work on r3dfox, I kinda just hate it and it's spite that keeps me going lol.

I've kinda lost interest in Vista, so I probably won't be looking into this for a long while.

Yeah, we all just do what we can with what we have. Sleep has always been an issue for me. I have serious trust issues and people are not longer approachable because everyone is wound up by politics. Everybody is badly divided here so its better to keep to myself. Sleep is an issue for me in the op...

Contributing to Eclipse Community can work in many ways. You could donate, help with projects or applications, or even create or manage them under the Eclipse Community brand. Applications or projects I would prefer contributing by helping with or creating projects or applications. As long as you ha...

Concept ePhone (Eclipse Phone or Everything Phone)
16:9 or 18:9? I have both the XZ1C (16:9) and XZ2C (18:9) and I find myself preferring the XZ1C or 16:9 display. This could be because of other design differences though, and I would need to try both concept ePhones as prototypes to decide. 16:9: 118mm x 65mm x 10mm 120g? 4.6in AMOLED, 16:9, 1080x19...

I find I just can't stay on a good schedule, so I just go to bed whenever and wake up whenever. I can stay up 24+ hours, or sleep 15+ hours, or both. I woke up a few hours ago. I just never go outside. There's nobody that likes me out there, and being inside is a lot more comfortable. All my friends...

The MSFN Forum Is Officially Dead (3/21/24)
I don't think MSFN is just dead. I'd assume another temporarily outage. I did some looking since I know some stuff after doing wacky server stuff and they appear to still have the domain, just the server hosting it is down likely.

R3dfox, modern Firefox for Windows 7!
However, the address bar is now using a smaller font than with version 122, not sure why. And I've also lost the black title bar (I'm using both the dark mode and the dark theme) but I guess it's because of the Aero thingy. Is there a way for Windows 8.1 users to get the black title bar back ? I th...

R3dfox, modern Firefox for Windows 7!
There is a problem on one specific site with all versions 123 of R3dfox, WebRender fix and pre WebRender fix, but it's working fine with version 122 and also with official Firefox ESR 115.8. I'm using Windows 8.1 x64. It being fine on 8.1 makes me think it's upstream, but I would need someone to wi...

Finding tweaks to get the most performance and lowest DPC latency
A while back, I watched this video , and made a note to make a thread about it after lowering DPC latency was mentioned. The video is a podcast type thing with a DAW Engineer from AAVIM Technology. They build digital audio workstations for customers. An important part of this is software tweaks to l...

I've decided to split this from rules since there are two tiers of Eclipse Community Projects. Trying to find fully working NVMe driver for Windows 7 with SMART
Basically the 7 NVMe driver added with updates does work pretty well, but SMART does not work. This means if you check Crystal Disk Info, the SSD does not appear in it. The Phison driver does work with SMART, but disk checking (at boot) is an issue. The disk checking part does work fine, but it fail...

Windows Vista Relevancy In 2024: New Copy Hunting
I wouldn't really say there's much use. Sure having in box copy is cool, but there's no real reason to have it. You can get keys, and if not, 7/8 OEM keys can still activate with downgrade rights.
psst you can disable the activation services while the trial is active and it stays activated.
