I'm surprised you didn't try the network installer for Debian and/or Ubuntu, also Fedora has one. Might be worth a go - there's probably equivalents for other distros too if you want to get your hands dirty on something more niche. :) Will try that on debian soon enough; also fedora suffers the sam...

Unfortunately not, debian all of the sudden isn't recognising the root user even though i set it to be loggable. So i have to pick another distro which are from my experiences, being the slowest of downloads i've ever encountered and it can go beyond 5 days sometimes; not sure if it's a mirror or no...

Sorry for the delay but it's has been going slow on every distro i've tried so far; so i crawled back to debian, the installation will take ages so hope you'll bare with me here. Ah shit it didn't work; well, off to a 5 days hiatus so i hope you would bare with me again for this one. Also don't wor...

merging teams and firing QA departments entirely to cut development costs at the expense of an inferior product. Yeah, also killing old devices to rise their sales by force. I didn´t notice that. I have an iPhone SE 1. Generation fully updated and I never had any problems. Nice, i think the first g...

Re: Extended kernel for Windows XP?
Thank you. I think I´ll just wait. Maybe there will be an extended kernel for XP any time soon. The fanbase of XP is huge and there are some really talented programmers. But I think you are right. It is very difficult... There's a way yes, but it's a tough hill; the NT kernel jumped here with just ...

Re: Why MS decided to sabotage USB booting for x64 XP?
After a bit of thought, the narrative didn't flow the way I thought it did; in 1996, USB 1.0 released and windows 95 (Of all things) supported it. With that in mind, I think what I said above is probably false. I didn't get around installing XP on the local machine as of yet sadly so i can't really ...
