(MailNews) Syncing Lightning w. Google Calendar
Hello. Just as a heads up. The Lightning Calendar is unable to sync for bidirectional Google Calendar access by default, same as in upstream Interlink. The Google login field is blanked. I was able to fix this by setting: general.useragent.compatMode.firefox to true in the config editor. Any chance ...

Looking for a free, preferribly open source partition backup program.
I use an older version of EaseUS Todo Backup myself. It obviously isn't free/FOSS though. I can attest it has saved my ass once, however. Clonezilla seems to work alright for most, I've known people to use it with success. There is a learning curve though. Just a psa though. Cloning can be real whac...

OneDrive always leaked memory and overloaded the CPU to 80-100%, had to kill it off each startup. I had a similar issue with 1809 when I (very briefly) used it on this Latutude e7250. Besides using 1/2 of my 8 GB of RAM installed at the time with absolutely NOTHING running at startup, some of the d...

Yeah, you need a semi-modern browser for MEGA. Really perplexes me why so many people are still on say, Firefox 48 or 52 when Roytam1 and Fedor2 are here on this board sharing their UXP backports.

Windows "Project 7000"
Wondeful! This is an easy look to achieve, but the 7 default theme has black text over the shellpane which causes issues whenever I apply the 7000 one via CustomzerGod. This ISO fixes that hurdle

Windows Vista Ultimate x64 2020.01 (6003) + Serv2008 Updates
Sorry, but we're not going back to that. Especially with there being an image with Win32's extended kernel already slipstreamed. As for the image size. He used a few tools to get this done, I can't recall what he did in detail. It was somewhat of a hodgepodge. I'll ask him to message you on Discord ...

Windows Vista Ultimate x64 2020.01 (6003) + Serv2008 Updates
This image was created by a friend before the Vista Extended Kernel project materialized in attempt to slimplify the process of updating Windows Vista to a later patch level. We never did decide on a place to share it, however I feel this community is an obvious match. Note however that going beyond...

I've found Enterprise/LTSC to be somewhat tolerable. It doesn't come with all the fluff and background noise that bogs the hell out of the consumer versions. The update policy settings and gap between feature updates make it considerably less hostile toward user customization. The problem is, the U...

There is, of course Pale Moon/UXP as well. Some quirky limitations, but not bad overall. Do remember to correctly refer to emojis as emoticons though. Else you risk a terribly uncomfortable encounter with a certain local. Do abstain from mentioning XP/Vista x_x  I think Pale Moon and UXP will ...

Which is the best version of MS Office in your opinion?
Office 2007 Enterprise all the way :3 2010 is a close second for me. Access/Outlook were improved in 2010, but I preferred the interface and activation method otherwise in 2007. So for me in order of greatest to worse: -Office 2007 -Office 2010 -Office 2003 -Office 2016 -Office 2013 ..................

Do you think when Google drops Chromium support for Windows 7 they'll drop 8.1 support at the same time just like they did with Vista when they dropped support for XP? If they don't follow this tradition, I'll be swept back in shock. History shall repeat itself. Fortunately NT 6.x (especially 8.1) ...
