Windows Vista on UEFI mode
Windows Vista on UEFI mode
I have a Dell Latitude E6530 that has Windows 7 installed to a 4TB SSD under UEFI mode, and I was wondering how to get Vista working under UEFI mode so I can dual-boot it with the already installed 7. Thanks in advanced for your guys' help!

If regular 7 worked, then regular Vista should work too.
Use Rufus to write it to the USB as GPT for UEFI.
If not, maybe try this.

I will try the guide you linked. Windows 7 only works as I had to apply the install.wim via DISM (through Mini Windows 10) and then delete the Basic Display adapter and integrate the Intel HD 4000 graphics. I got a black screen for the first part of setup, and then I was able to see everything during the 2nd part. And I have tried writing Vista as UEFI using Rufus, but when I boot it, I get a black screen (Windows 7 also does this as well).K4sum1 wrote: ↑04 Oct 2021, 06:53 If regular 7 worked, then regular Vista should work too.
