AM4 boards Windows 7 compatibility list

If one board from a brand is confirmed to work/not work, it's probably safely assumed that it will be the same as any other board with the same chipset as that board.

If you have any results that you want to share, reply to this post, and I can add it with credit.

Also boards confirmed to work with a 1000/2000 series chip could potentially not work if used with a 3000/5000 series chip. (Only X570 ASRock boards are confirmed to have this behavior) Assume APUs don't work unless otherwise specified for a board.

Key:
ACPI - Requires modded ACPI.
CPU - Does not work when used with a 3000/5000 series CPU, however works with a 1000/2000 series CPU.

Working motherboard:
- MSI A320M-A PRO (MS-7C51)
- BIOS Version: 1.30 (11/08/2019)
- Tested CPU: AMD Ryzen 3 1200
- Features: Legacy Mode, CSM

Both Windows 7 and 8.1 work perfectly fine and stable on it.
Windows Vista also runs surprisingly well, quite stable on my experience.
Windows XP also runs perfect with the ACPI patch (otherwise you get 5A BSOD).
All onboard peripherals have Windows 7 and 8.1 drivers.

The GIGABYTE B450 Gaming X officially supports Windows 7 on Zen and Zen+ Processors,
And it works flawlessly on newer CPUs as long as you use the Backported XHCI driver from Windows 8 and use the 'High Performance' power plan in the Control Panel.

Tested on my Ryzen 7 1700X, Ryzen 5 2600 and Ryzen 7 5700X, BIOS Revision F62.

Note:
On some boards there might be instability if the power plan is not set to 'High Performance',
So if you experience instability try setting the power plan to 'High Performance'

I remember the BSODs, but i am not sure about general instability.
It has been a long time since i have had to deal with this issue.
