This site was inactive and offline for several months.
Why?
Why bring back the site now and how active has the site really become?
I kinda wanna know as i dont see the point

Do you have any Discord channel for members of your site or can you recommend any Discord channel with old operating systems ?
I can't find MSFN Discord but it may exist with different name (dunno).

This Discord is probably what kills this site, as people talk more on there, than they do on this site.
Its pretty obvious that this forum is dead from time to time.
It would be nice if we had more traffic on this site and less on Discord

Discord is like IRC+Reddit+ICQ AIO. Find something in chat history on Discord is a pain.
Php forum is the most convenient place for professional conversations (I mean more technical discussion) only IMHO.

Discord pretty much killed all the boards, that was part of the motivation for this place to come about, because people seem to get some sort of pleasure from everything being monotonous and hidden behind all sorts of things you have to sign up to before you can get to it

Besides, who cares if the forum is 'more dead', at least what goes on here is actually productive. Most 'tech' forums' offtopic discussion, especially when it comes to old computers and whatnot, is absolutely full of idiocy anyway. Most of those people who exclusively hang out on Discord likely wouldn't even have been interested in the topic at hand if someone on Discord/Twitter wasn't into it before they were; in other words, good forums (i.e. no enforced registration like MyDigitalLife) encourage actual contributors over braindead idiots, Discord encourages consumption, throwaway accounts and stupidity

also given this was yet another thing born from Compa's mind (there's a few things scattered around the internet with decent popularity that came from him), I'm not surprised it's doing decently. he reminds me of Compile Heart itself - he has a tendency to have some extremely strong ideas and philosophies in mind, and then fuck the execution up while he's there with his own idiocy. at least when others pick it up it tends to do pretty good.
