Windows Update patch for Windows Vista STILL working in 2023!

So 3 years ago this guy created a patch, which allowed for Windows Vista to connect to the official Microsoft servers and download updates from there.
3 years later and this guy is STILL maintaining this patch and it apparently STILL WORKS!

Heres the initial thread and a detailed step-by-step tutorial on how to get Windows Update working again with Windows Server 2008 updates using official Microsoft servers.

OMFG IT WORKS!!!

The first time it took about 30-45 minutes to complete the check for updates, but after that, it downloads them really fast!
FROM THE OFFICIAL MICROSOFT SERVERS!
It even found the Ultimate Extras!
