Pffft. Guess Eclipse will be my new home from now on then, if MSFN is really dead.

That's the exact error I've also been getting when trying to visit it. And if MSFN will come back 1 day, then I hope it gets cleaned from the multiple accounts' nonsense, because it's ruining the quality of MSFN significantly. I also hope the moderators become active very often.

Wayback Machine should have you covered, navigating might be a bit difficult due to how the crawler works, since you'll have to jump around dates to find different topics instead of using the page function as normal, but I'd imagine most if not everything is archived.

I'm surprised its still down, actually, but I imagine its just a glitch, or something.

The MSFN Forum Is Officially Dead (3/21/24)

I don't think MSFN is just dead. I'd assume another temporarily outage. I did some looking since I know some stuff after doing wacky server stuff and they appear to still have the domain, just the server hosting it is down likely.

OK, maybe you are right, but still, it is stressful when it goes down many times in a row. Of course, with no doubt, once MSFN goes back up again, I am sure someone (not naming him for reasons) will link to this topic again just to start an argument, but I won't let it happen.

MSFN could be dead? (24/03/21)

Unread post by JodyThornton »

I just wish Xper would be more communicative about the board. If he is doing maintenance, put up a banner giving notice in advance, or come to this place, Facebook, wherever, and send us a message. It helps provide a community "feel" to things.

Just my "Xper-T" opinion. :p

Well, we said that too the last time, and then it came back, after it was down for a few days. Not sure if what you said really applies this time, but I suggest we wait a week at least and see if it comes back, or it's really gone as you said or not. And if a week isn't enough to know if it's gone, a month then.
