BSoD "This Device is not fully ACPI Compliant"

So i tried installing Windows 7 on my MSI GE72 6QF Apache Pro, however every time i get to the Windows 7 boot screen it gives me a BSoD saying:

"This Device is not fully ACPI compliant. Please update your BIOS"Please update your BIOS."

I was trying to install Windows 7 on that device with "Legacy Boot mode" and "Legacy USB Support" enabled.
The 16 GB USB Flashdrive fas formatted in NTFS MBR.
This BsOD occurs every time it gets to the Windows 7 boot screen.
On r3ns ISO i was able to get through the "Copying files" part but upon restarting the BSoD would show up again.
How do i fix this?

Also, the laptop has currently no OS properly installed on it.
I dont want to risk a BIOS update at this point.
That laptop is still new and i dont want to risk breaking it.

Also, how do i do this? Just press f7 while the first part of the setup.
Just like that?
I think Disabling ACPI during Setup on Windows 7 is my solution but i dont know how?
Help?

Try updating to this BIOS.
https://download.msi.com/bos_exe/nb/E1794IMS.106.zip

Edit: After you flash the above BIOS, flash this.

alright, i guess this is my last chance.
MSI win7 tool also started to fuck around again not accepting any ISO in existence.
Now i gotta prepare fucking WinPE for that as well....

Wish me luck and cross your fingers that the BIOS wont get corrupted :?

If you bothered to read the posts in question you'd have noticed it was indeed a BIOS issue...

That BIOS update is required, Windows Vista and above requires your PC to be ACPI compliant.

To be fair, the system should be ACPI-compliant anyway in the first place considering its age: it's likely a bug within the supplied BIOS on the device.

Yeah its probably because the previous owner extended the RAM from 8 GB to 16 GB.
Ive read on the seven forums that people have also been recieveing the same error after RAM swaps from devices with the same BIOS.
So yeah it is likely a bug.

btw the later one is for a different MSI laptop model.
I went over to the MSI download page myself and downloaded the correct BIOS just to be sure nothing goes wrong.

And my BIOS was already updated to the first version so yeah, less work to do for me :D .

Not a bios updating expert, only done it once, but as long as you don't interrupt it or unplug the usb or anything stupid like that you should be 100% fine :)

I grabbed 115 since it wouldn't have the spectre patches that decreased performance.
