Profile picture guidelines v2

Unread post by K4sum1 »

I have decided to change the profile picture border to a different style, more like Vista's style
The selector has been increased to allow 136x136 profile pictures, but the pictures that go in the frame are still 100x100, or in this case under it.
The new frame has a glare, which will make adding the images more complex, but still quite easy if you have access to paint.net, GIMP, or a similar image manipulation tool that supports layers.

To use the new Windows Aero profile border, download the template below, and use any decent image editor to scale your profile picture to 100x100, make a layer under the border, and then align it inside of the border on the layer below the border. If this is too hard for you to do, comment with your profile picture and I'll do it for you when I have time.

If you don't want to use a custom profile picture and just want a default profile picture, you can take a look at the below images.
