Post your favorite cars/car brads.

i think my favorites cars here (as person here in the Philippines), is Ford, Toyota, Jeep and Nissan, aslong as there is truck based SUVs and pickups. i also like sometimes Hyundai and Kia too, but only like their midsized crossovers. as far as maintenance otherwise, i would go for preferring Nissan...

Post your desktops here!

Currently this is my desktop, as my other PC is broken, and also ignore the wallpaper that has the sticky note on top, as it's my ASMR (DTL and Varyunya) propaganda that made me create that wallpaper.

.NET Runtime AIO

This is .NET Runtime AIO, an AIO installer of all .NET Runtime versions currently. The installation is the same as Visual C++ Redistributable Runtimes All-in-One, but uses "SilentSetup.cmd" as its installer. Here is V1 in action: ws0.png ws3.png V2 is same as V1 but it's promotion is diffe...

Not yet. We have to wait another 1 year for that to happen. Even Windows Server based on 11 GUI wasnt released yet.

Chrome to end support for both 7 and 8.1 with version 110 (Jan.2023)

Actually, for me nothing much would affect me here. VxKex would be a possible lifesaver for this kind of issue regarding Chrome. My common worry is not about compatibility but more on the visual side. I am afraid that Chrome would deprecate the " --disable-windows10-custom-titlebar" comman...

Method to create offline account on Windows 11 Pro

The alternate solution to this is to click the "set up for work for school" option, select sign in options then click the "domain join instead" to get into the offline account. It looks like this: 1st: windows-11-first-run-experience-work-or-school.png 2nd: windows-11-first-run-e...

Do you think Windows Server 2022 will be 11 based?

In current Insider builds, yes. However if you meant the public released version (20348), no. If you look at the GUI of Windows Server 2022, its based on Windows 10 except the Settings logo. Microsoft compiled 20348 months before the Cobalt internal build phase which brings us to Windows 11. Windows...

Office 2021 on Windows 8.1

So actually Office LTSC 2021 works on Windows 8.1, i used an online C2R installer tool to install Office 2021 on 8.1 and it worked flawlessly.

When i tested it on Windows 7, nope it didnt worked. It throws an error something related to update to Windows 10.

I wonder why Chrome extended up to 2023 could be associated with neither: 1. Chrome EOL were very too early for Win7 EOL since many users during the pandemic even with the vaccine already there still at work from home for various reasons again many cases 2. They could end up in a big backlash. Maybe...

My theory as to why Microsoft is attempting to force TPM 2.0 as a requirement for Windows 11

I've heard this article from The Verge something related to Windows 11 requirements: https://www.theverge.com/22644194/microsoft-windows-11-minimum-system-requirements-processors-changes I think Windows 11 might be supported on older CPUs outside of 8th Gen Intel, but the bad news is still updates b...

My theory as to why Microsoft is attempting to force TPM 2.0 as a requirement for Windows 11

I'm now back in the forum after a month or week long hiatus here because of massive boredom. As i actually think why this TPM fiasco in Windows 11 is did happened, i did learn back in June that Win11 needs TPM and Secure Boot, not by VM file name. The TPM requirement it could be suspected by two thi...

The incompatibility is due to the TPM module. You can still install it without that, just using DISM. Anyone else able to get to msfn.org? Seems like their site is down. yea msfn is down people are discussing about that site in ryanvm's forum. I also saw a small thread in reboot.pro, look also here...

1. That gpu is bottlenecking the i9 2. In all seriousness, Windows 7 might just not support hardware that is that powerful, although I've never really tested myself. Not the biggest Windows expert. Windows 7 on Intel Skylake 6th gen?

I see no issue. Finding the drivers may be a challenge, if you don't already have them. I've upgraded at least 3 Dell Skylake desktops to Windows 7 from XP. Two of which were intel-based chipsets, and one hybrid nforce4 SLI Intel (Dell) edition. Each had their own challenges. Just make sure you hav...

Forced Upgrades & Microsoft Coercion: How it becomes a battle

Sorry for my inactivity, technically you can disable updates from this video:

By deletion of the service, it tricks Windows Updates that the OS is under SHA-1 and not SHA-2 but keep in mind you should export the registry key and back it up just incase.

I just can't get myself to fully remove 10 from my life. I got myself to remove the Windows 10 abomination from my life and I will never touch it again, either of my own free will or involuntarily. I never thought this would be possible until late last year though. Windows 10 is nothing but bad, so...

I've found Enterprise/LTSC to be somewhat tolerable. It doesn't come with all the fluff and background noise that bogs the hell out of the consumer versions. The update policy settings and gap between feature updates make it considerably less hostile toward user customization. The problem is, the U...
