My experience of using Zorin Linux 16
Sounds nice, but how are paid Linux distros possible? Linux is GPL iirc. Yes, Linux is GPL, but the developers of Zorin OS decided to make it voluntary to pay for Pro,just so that they can get support. In return, we can get more features such as new macOS, Windows 11, Windows 2000 and Ubuntu-like ...

The only other issue that I think needs fixing is with Classic/Open Shell. Opening a libraries folder shows the folder in This PC when it shouldn't be there. My experience of using Zorin Linux 16
Hello folks, recently I replaced the dualboot of Windows Vista and 7 on my laptop with Zorin Linux 16 Core. (For the Windows Vista and 7 fans here, I don't hate them, but I decided to replace them with something that could be better, and an Ubuntu-based Linux distro was the first thing that came to ...

Any way to reset battery wear to 0%?
You might have gotten a poor replacement battery. Is the battery life reflective of the wear level? Not really, I see little difference. The battery used to last for about 3 hours on light use, but now it lasts for 20 to 30 minutes less, but video calls suck juice from the battery very fast. I ...

Any way to reset battery wear to 0%?
Hello all, recently I replaced my laptop(Dell Latitude e5420)'s battery, but of late, the battery wear level has increased quite a bit. Initially at 2.3%, it subsequently increased to 8.1, 19.7 and 31.4% and now is at a shocking 38%, but on the BIOS information page, the battery status shows as ...

A step in the right direction, a mile the other way back.
I agree with what @Heckraising said, Windows 11 is both better and worse than Windows 10. M$ has made it much tougher and more time consuming to access a basic setting that was easily accessible on Windows Vista - 8.1. M$ needn't have done that. I won't be using Windows 11 on my main PC until the ...

BIOS date and time always resets on Dell Latitude e5420 after replacing battery.
Hello all, I recently replaced the battery on my laptop (Dell Latitude e5420), but found that on every cold boot, the date and time resets to sometime in September 2015, requiring a reset always. This does not happen on reboots though. Is there a solution to this problem?

I tried installing Win11 Pro N on VMware WS 12, but after restarting twice, the VM boots into the VHD, shows the bootscreen, displays 'Just a moment...' on the screen and then the display goes blank. Nothing happens after that.

If you're not a gamer, an Ivy Bridge Thinkpad would be a good investment. If you boost 7's marketshare, developers will support it for longer. 7000 and 4000 series could work on 7 if we show them that 7 is still a decent platform. 7 is definitely still a decent platform, but I don't know how 1-100 people switching to 7 would be enough to change the marketshare, when w7 ...
