Afraid of competition most likely, they don't believ of every creator having his own personal touch on the matter, and it couldn't be replicated as easily without it.

It's probably a personal image taken by the owner himself, couldn't find any results for the reverse search.

It's probably microsoft pushing for this, they are the only one capable of such a move. Or AMD not bothering with microsoft due to stuff behind the scene, it could be anything really.

Browservice Testing.

I'm surprised you didn't try the network installer for Debian and/or Ubuntu, also Fedora has one. Might be worth a go - there's probably equivalents for other distros too if you want to get your hands dirty on something more niche. :) Will try that on debian soon enough; also fedora suffers the sam...

Browservice Testing.

Unfortunately not, debian all of the sudden isn't recognising the root user even though i set it to be loggable. So i have to pick another distro which are from my experiences, being the slowest of downloads i've ever encountered and it can go beyond 5 days sometimes; not sure if it's a mirror or no...

Sorry for the delay but it's has been going slow on every distro i've tried so far; so i crawled back to debian, the installation will take ages so hope you'll bare with me here. Ah shit it didn't work; well, off to a 5 days hiatus so i hope you would bare with me again for this one. Also don't wor...

Other than 360 extreme explorer? no, but i am aware of a project that aims to bring Chromium 76(?) onto XP, the development is very slow and probably halted too so i recommend you to not expect much out of it. Hopefully it comes out though.

You should probably aim at a chromium browser for this, firefox forks won't get you anywhere. I believe there's a fork out in the wild that works with XP, one moment.

Don't think it will easily work since it (i think) probably changed in functionality by a huge margin so it can't simply be replaced; by that i mean the loginui has long been replaced and is unlike before, more relient on explorer.exe because of course.

merging teams and firing QA departments entirely to cut development costs at the expense of an inferior product. Yeah, also killing old devices to rise their sales by force. I didn´t notice that. Re: Extended kernel for Windows XP?

Thank you. I think I´ll just wait. Maybe there will be an extended kernel for XP any time soon. The fanbase of XP is huge and there are some really talented programmers. But I think you are right. It is very difficult... There's a way yes, but it's a tough hill; the NT kernel jumped here with just ...

No, the exact opposite. Just wonder off the path and you will find unfinished/buggy stuff even after nearly 5 years from it's release.

Re: Why MS decided to sabotage USB booting for x64 XP?

After a bit of thought, the narrative didn't flow the way I thought it did; in 1996, USB 1.0 released and windows 95 (Of all things) supported it. With that in mind, I think what I said above is probably false. I didn't get around installing XP on the local machine as of yet sadly so i can't really ...
