I've configured a NAS that uses SMBv2/SMBv3, and I'd like to connect it to various computers of mine, but I have a XP PC I'd like to use with it. I found various posts saying only SMBv1 is supported, but one post mentioned a update that adds SMBv2, but I can't find any info on it.
Is it possible to use SMBv2 with XP, or potentially backport it to XP?
Due to server slowness, downtime, and other issues, Eclipse will be moving to a more stable and efficient platform that should result in much better stability. There is no timeline for this yet, just want you to know what's happening with all the downtime and I have a plan to fix it.
Is it possible to use at least SMBv2 with Server 2003/XP x64?

From the information I can find, SMBv2 support was added in Vista/Server 2008, meaning that XP/Server 2003 probably doesn't support it.
Over and out.

Yeah if there's no update info for something "non trivial" as that.
There's probably no support, maybe the poster made a mistake on server versions.
