Finally back!

Unread post by K4sum1 »

It has been a while since I've been able to get Eclipse back up and running, but I finally have it fully working. After about 7 months of downtime, it's finally back and accessible by everyone!

I was hoping to add more content to the board, but I've been pretty busy testing hardware and modding software. Just means that I will have more content to make in the future, when I have time.

Currently I have updated/posted a few ISO threads, posted a guide on fixing ghost This PC folders when using Classic Shell and OldNewExplorer, and released a guide for getting AMD drivers up to version 17.10.1 working on Vista. I have more threads in the works.

I'm not entirely sure why, but some parts of the board are broken, which means you might find you have an old or missing profile pic, an old or missing password, an old or missing email and so on. If you come across something you can't change, contact me and I can try to resolve it.

Other than that, Eclipse is back and better than ever!

Some bugs that have been fixed are:
Discord embeds work
Site can be used in http mode without any redirects (Hope this makes up for LetsEncrypt and TLS 1.2 requirement)

I'm not sure if there were any other major bugs that could've been fixed, but I just wanted to mention these somewhere.

Yes, Eclipse is definitely back! Also, anyone who misbehaves gets the boot! This boot to be exact! It's very stinky and you have to wear it all day! (Kudos if you got which Nickelodeon show this quote came from).

Sorry about that. I seriously thought the S in your name was capitalized. Learn something new everyday.

Why was it down at all and for so long? I see a few prominent developers and some creep banned, is it related?

Not related, it was down for so long because it was a bit of a pain getting a working server.
