Eclipse Community

Due to server slowness, downtime, and other issues, Eclipse will be moving to a more stable and efficient platform that should result in much better stability. There is no timeline for this yet, just want you to know what's happening with all the downtime and I have a plan to fix it.

(Edit: 2022/12/17 Used method on 2.5.18 and it still works, so I updated the version in the post)

Using this method, I've gotten Windscribe 2.5.18 running on Windows 7/8, the latest version as of making this post.

Step 1: Acquire win10verhack, QT 6.3.1 fix, and Windscribe

Step 2: Extract the two .zips.

Step 3: Open the Windscribe installer with 7-zip, and extract the splittunnel, tap6, and wintun folders

Step 4: Put the Windscribe installer in the win10verhack folder

Step 5: Open a admin cmd, and using the cd /d command, point cmd to the win10verhack folder

Step 6: Type withdll /d:win10verhack64.dll Windscribe_(version).exe and install Windscribe
(withdll /d:win10verhack64.dll Windscribe_2.5.14.exe)

Step 7: Take the QT 6.3.1 fix dlls, and copy them into the installed Windscribe folder (C:\Program Files\Windscribe)

Step 8: Go back to the extracted splittunnel, tap6, and wintun folders. Inside each is a win7 folder, and then an amd64 folder. Copy the contents of the amd64 folder for each in to the respective folders inside the installed Windscribe folder

Step 9: Install the splittunnel, tap6, and wintun drivers by right clicking the inf, and selecting install. If this fails, replace the sys files in %windir%\System32\drivers with the 7 .sys files.

Step 10: Open Windscribe
