As somebody who has experience driving a Yugo and who was driven in a Yugo, i can only agree to this statement.
To be fair though, the Yugo has some issues, notably the noise isolation of the motor and some plastic parts on some model years being of very low quality and thus very brittle, like for example door handles and window cranks
