Eclipse Community

Due to server slowness, downtime, and other issues, Eclipse will be moving to a more stable and efficient platform that should result in much better stability. There is no timeline for this yet, just want you to know what's happening with all the downtime and I have a plan to fix it.

I was wondering if there is an app out there, that automatically can forward whatsapp messages via SMS to another number, which would be inserted into an old, non 3G capable phone and there recieved as a regular SMS message.

On the other side that plugin or app could forward SMS messages to whatsapp users.
Images or videos sent via whatsapp would just be displayed as test saying "IMAGE" or something, due to the old phones not being able to display them

This way you could use a modern phone today more easily.

I was wondering if something like that already exists out there.
If so, let me know because id really need that.

Not a problem here in europe.
Telekom has 2G/GSM still running in almost every country.
I can hook up my 3410 perfectly with no issues and i do use it for phonecalls.
Whatsapp is just a problem.
Thats why i am posting this
