At some point in the future Eclipse will be moving to a more stable and efficient platform that should result in much better stability and the lifting of these restrictions.     So yeah I liked the GOG Galaxy 1.x clients but I hate how slow their new Galaxy 2.0 Client is is there a way to use the old clients? or are there any other clients?

    You can still use 1.2. Get the latest version, install it, delete the updater exe, and there you go.
