    • Due to server slowness, downtime, and other issues, Eclipse will be moving to a more stable and efficient platform that should result in much better stability. There is no timeline for this yet, just want you to know what's happening with all the downtime and I have a plan to fix it.

    I mean an IRC bridge would be quite nice imo. And from the last time i checked there are quite many ways to do it and all seem quite easy.

    Not that big into IRC. Although maybe I could be convinced to try something with Matrix.

    Well matrix is quite cool as a user. Buuut if you self host a server then i heard it's such a pain. But Matrix bridge would be still very fun

    Hello, one of those discord moderators here. I do propose to make an irc & xmpp bridge that goes straight to the discord server and possibly convince the owner (not) to point my server to a eclipse "irc" subdomain.

    Vote and at the end you guys decide if i put my elbow grease to work or not.

    Well i think a XMPP bridge would be too much. I mean XMPP is just too much of a pain imo. Matrix just pretty much replaced XMPP with there being slowly less and less reasons to use it

    the demograph of this forum are a bunch of 16 year old kids for the most part outside a few who abstained from it, why would they care about IRC tbh?

    kinda sad though
