Has anyone tried out AMD's new 7000 or 9000 CPUs and had a chance to play with MS Pluton?
Like what kind of internet traffic it generates and if it can potentially be disabled

Not sure it could be monitored in any way, outside of maybe router logs or something idk. I've heard some boards can disable it, but idk of any lists. I'll eventually get an AM5 system with a 10950X or whatever last 16c AM5 CPU is by then idk if I'm alive by then

Yes, I'm just extremely busy and/or lazy so I haven't really looked here. I'll reply to all the new posts sometime soonish.

Pluton is a ‘security’ hardware block that is brought up immediately after the TPM which is the first thing to come up when the system powers on. Once the TPM authenticates the Pluton block, Pluton takes over system security from the TPM
So maybe when TPM is disabled it doesn't authenticate Pluton and is does not run?

So if disabling TPM just disables Pluton, that would be a good workaround. I always disable TPM anyways so. I'd need some Pluton hardware to test, but I'm not going to actively seek it out myself.
