Due to server slowness, downtime, and other issues, guests can no longer search the forum or view user accounts. At some point in the future Eclipse will be moving to a more stable and efficient platform that should result in much better stability and the lifting of these restrictions. There is no timeline for this yet, just want you to know what's happening with all the downtime and I have a plan to fix it.

I'll add it if someone makes it.
I was wanting to make a dark mode of the Maxthon theme years ago and add it, but I couldn't figure out what colors to use so I abandoned it. Maybe I should try again with Eclipse colors.

Good idea. I think Eclipse colours (Violet) goes really well with Black. A dark aero type purplish (eclipse) theme would be a good concept.
Aero for life.

Why not to use the system theme colors? This way the theme will automatically match system theme.
For example:
Window
Disabled Item
│││Active Title Bar│││
│││Inactive Title Bar│││
Menu
Selected Items
││Button││

I wish I could make it but I'm strangling with the userChrome.css.
It's a bit problem to me as with Plasmafox on dark backgrounds (dark theme) I can't see clearly which tab is active/selected.
This because the tab hover/selected color is dark-on-bright but also dark-on-dark.
I can use the "Firefox Color" extension and change the active tab font color but still.

Well not related to the issue the post is about, but you could try to play around with some of the settings under r3dfox configurations. Using different r3dfox color schemes, or disabling r3dfox theme styles or backgrounds for tabs and such. Or force enabling aero fog and stuff.AntonyMan wrote: ↑29 Jul 2026, 23:34 I wish I could make it but I'm strangling with the userChrome.css.

You could also use the light theme in the browser for the tabbar and co but under general settings have Website appearance set to Dark. So only your tabbar will be light and everything else will be dark.

What if using "Temporary Containers" or any other extension which colored the different container/tab?
The difference (contrast) is very small. Normally the (semi-tranparent) hover should be Dark-on-Bright or Bright-on-Dark.

Ah yeah that issue
I keep meaning to look into it but I keep forgetting because I rarely ever use container tabs except for one off things.
The line at the bottom is supposed to always show, but the background applies over it making it dim, and the top should only show when selected.
