I've configured a NAS that uses SMBv2/SMBv3, and I'd like to connect it to various computers of mine, but I have a XP PC I'd like to use with it. I found various posts saying only SMBv1 is supported, but one post mentioned a update that adds SMBv2, but I can't find any info on it. Is it possible to use SMBv2 with XP, or potentially backport it to XP? |

From the information I can find, SMBv2 support was added in Vista/Server 2008, meaning that XP/Server 2003 probably doesn't support it. |

Yeah if there's no update info for something "non trivial" as that. There's probably no support, maybe the poster made a mistake on server versions. |
