Hello all, I have a Samsung SyncMaster 740N 17 inch monitor with a resolution of 1280 by 1024, which I am doubtful of whether to keep or sell to buy another monitor. It has no dead pixels, no bad resolution, nothing. I need a monitor to use for my desktop computer, which I will build soon (but idk when exactly, because COVID), but idk what to choose. I will use the desktop for more intensive virtualization, photo editing and audio editing, and possibly some light gaming.
If buying a new monitor, points to note:
- Brands I prefer : Samsung, LG, Dell
- Brands I dislike : Lenovo, HP
- preferred aspect ratio/resolution: 16:10/1920x1200 or 4:3/1920x1440, but 16:9/1920x1080 should be okay, from what I think
