| Hello all, I have dualbooted the Windows Vista install on my main laptop (Dell e5420) with Windows XP Pro x64 with Vista installed first. I repaired the bootloader and was going to install drivers for the hardware via Driver Booster, so I connected my phone to the laptop via USB tethering. The phone gets recognised but Windows says that it does not have the drivers for it, so now I can't connect to the internet and install some missing drivers. NOTE: I installed XP x64 via a Kingston DataTraveler SE9 USB 2.0 flash drive, with the help of WinSetupfromUSB. I used win32's updated ISO for the same. |

| You need to install the Remote NDIS driver in order to get USB tethering working: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B4o0HezwLvz-ZHBLZ0tzLVVydVE/view. It should work on XP x64. |

Did not work. I tried installing the inf file through right-click method and via Device Manager, but USB tethering still is not possible. |

| I mean com on , get a better device. Redmi 4 is waste of money , you have better got a used samsung flagship or Nokia upper midranger or a oneplus if lucky. |
