    ThinkPad T42/T42p apparently has good drivers/support on ME (asked someone personally who confirmed this).

    Also disabling system restore supposedly helps as it's relatively buggy.

    Microsoft Released a Fix for that buggy system restore later in 2001 lol. Install it, and then, all those bugs are gone...
