This is something someone using Windows Server as a workstation might want to do, but I can't find anything helpful about it. Everything I've found is either very confusing or is about having it act as a VPN server instead of just being a client. If anyone knows what needs to be installed or done to make Windows Server work with IKEv2 VPNs, I would appreciate the info and make a post about it.
2008 R2 or later is specified as only 7+ can use IKEv2 afaik, unless something like Strongswan bypasses Windows VPN, but I find that possibility unlikey. (Strongswan for Windows is only officially offered in source though, and can't find it prebuilt anywhere online) |
