Post subject: | How to block specific settings in New Moon... |
Hi there! I'm wondering if it's possible to use the Enterprise Policy Generator extension in New Moon... https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/enterprise-policy-generator/ Lord willing, I'm looking to block the proxy settings from being changed (or enabled/disabled.) I am able to do this on Firefox using the extension mentioned above. If it's not possible to use the Enterprise Policy Generator in New Moon, is there a way to block these settings from being changed using another method? If so, could someone give clear, easy-to-understand instructions on how to go about doing this? I'd appreciate it! ![]() I'm using New Moon version 28.10.7a1 32 bit on a computer running Windows XP Home SP3 32 bit. Regards... |

Hi roytam1! Thank you for your help! Unfortunately, I was unable to install the extension from an XPI file. I was given the error message shown in the screenshot below. If I could ask... 1. What version of Firefox is New Moon 28.10.7a1? Is it version 60 or later? 2. If yes, would it be possible to put an enterprise policy file (created be the extension) somewhere in the New Moon (or Palemoon) folder? If so, where exactly? Or would I need to create a specific folder? Regards... |
