| If you care like a little tiny bit or are unresponsible when browsing the internet :kekw: As follows: Free, sorted by gut feeling: ESET Online Scanner Microsoft Safety Scanner Kaspersky Virus Removal Tool Panda Cloud Cleaner Trellix Stinger Zemana Anti-Malware Comodo Cleaning Essentials AdLice RogueKiller Other Gridinsoft Trojan Killer (for that specific niche of malware) Paid: Gridinsoft Anti Malware Shouldn't use, why: Norton Power Eraser: Getting discontinued Malwarebytes: Runs in the background eating up RAM, aggressive advertising of premium version Some of these also support Windows XP, see here Almost all of these are free on-demand scanners, (for the exception of the single Paid one) which means you get a free-forever tool that just scans and removes malware by your request. Full protection is available from all the companies that provide these, if you were to need it. |

| Malwarebytes isn't that bad if only used as a scanner. There's no need to have antivirus running in the background if you dont download a bunch of stuff and install random programs. If you do that, then I suggest you use Sandboxie which isolates files and programs into containers without sacrificing a lot of performance. |
