Android 2.3.6 and Modern Websites (TLS1.2)
If you're talking about what i think you are, the issue isn't partiuclarly the TLS suites or version, but a root certificate expiry, and possibly other similar ones. LetsEncrypt is the one that comes to mind.

It depends, really. I have seen one be faster than the other, going both ways.

To whom it may concern, explorer also blows up and dies if you enter it into the Run... prompt.

If you're not pleased with the speed of his free, totally voluntary, very big amount of work, you could always merge the changes and compile builds yourself.

Looking for a free, preferribly open source partition backup program.
If you're willing to learn: Definitely can recommend Clonezilla. Free+OS. If you want something that's just plain and simple to use, EaseUS todo backup is alright. Closed source but anything you need is found in the free version. It's not an outright clone (which is why I don't personally care for i...

Removing the Office 2010 x64 installation files from the install media?
I am unsure why there would be a correlation, and I certainly don't think I've noticed a difference with things I've used. But I suppose there could be some reasons unknown to me why some stuff might be more stable in a x64 build. I certainly do not know everything about that stuff.

I dont see why it matters if your office program is 64 bit or not, so i see no reason to NOT cut out the x64. x86 will install on all, and it's not like an office program is going to be able to utilize any advantage x64 brings to the table.

How is Windows 10 having telemetry, forced updates, installing Candy Crush, and UWP subjective? I even list it as "features". As if those are the only items in the lists. Windows 10's updates, for example, could be seen as "user controlled" as there are user interfaced controls ...

Wanting to see how Firefox 3.6.28 works
I dont know about that. I am sending this over HTTP (in IE8). The only things I've seen that DON'T work over http is clicking the "home" button at the bottom, and clicking the logo at the top. Those two things redirect to HTTPS. I've been told that fixing those two things is apparently not...

Windows Vista Ultimate x64 2020.01 (6003) + Serv2008 Updates
At the cost of further derailment the thread, that would be an awful lot of work. 45ESR renders things worse than UXP, so that would need to be modernized, as well as the usual "designing an entire browser from scratch-ish when you're already maintaining, building, and supporting 400 zillion br...

No. It's a crawler. Indexing publicly availible web sites and pages is by absolutely no means meeting any serious definition of spyware.

Basic theory to Firefox 52+ / PaleMoon 28+ memory leak issues
Frankly, I don't think I've EVER actually noticed a memory leak in Pale Moon 28. NM28 has been my main daily browser since it came out. There are a couple of sites that I have noticed seem to have a chance to make the browser crash if you use said sites for hours on end, but the RAM usage always han...

I figure it's worth asking. do you mean the ThinkPad "weird" middle button UltraNav scrolling, or do you mean standard (generic) middle button scroll? I know how to fix the former.

May I ask why? Not trying to invalidate it, just simply curious as to what one would do with FF45 x64, over something 52-based.

Maybe it is, he is replacing his motherboard and CPU, with are the core parts of a computer. He´s essentially only keeping the chassis and the RAM. So it´s pretty close. And keeping system drive... and the screen... and the inverter board...and the wireless card... and the optical drive... and the ...

No... It CLEARLY isn't... a motherboard is just one (big and important) part of a computer.
