I don't really mind it, but I'm curious as to why there wasn't as many browsers in this batch.

Concept Eclipse Lun3r Browser
It would be a fork of Firefox 45 or 47 with working e10s, better WebExtensions support, able to quickly render Mega and VirusTotal and Discord and others, and general improvements that would come from focusing on actually improving the browser. It would include a UI similar to Pale Moon and be 100% ...

This is going to be a thread where I post various concepts that I wish I could make, but I don't have the coding or other knowledge or resources to do so.
I'm only decent with paint.net, not coding.

(April Fools) Important announcement regarding the future of the forum.
Beginning April 1st 23:59 UTC, forum.eclipse.cx will exclusively become a roleplay forum. All tech related categories will be archived and moved onto another subdomain on eclipse.cx. Some things to note about the roleplay: An overpowered character is not fun for all involved parties. Previous rolepl...

Looking for a free, preferribly open source partition backup program.
If you're willing to learn: Definitely can recommend Clonezilla. Free+OS. If you want something that's just plain and simple to use, EaseUS todo backup is alright. Closed source but anything you need is found in the free version. It's not an outright clone (which is why I don't personally care for ...

Microsoft Office 2007 installer with updates to October 2017 EOS.
So I decided to try making a up to date Office 2007 installer, and I've done it. There are a few things to note: There are 4 updates not integrated, they must be installed separately. One is a security update for Outlook, and the three others are for installing and updating the File Validation Add-i...

I downloaded the MSI of Firefox 87.0 and extracted this installer using 7-zip. Theres a setup.cab and some other data. The setup.cab doesn´t do anything And theres no file or directory named "Firefox" or something like that. It's the .exe you should extract, but you can use Orca to edit t...

Removing the Office 2010 x64 installation files from the install media?
I dont see why it matters if your office program is 64 bit or not, so i see no reason to NOT cut out the x64. x86 will install on all, and it's not like an office program is going to be able to utilize any advantage x64 brings to the table. x64 software has been more stable all around for me, so I ...

I'm pretty sure the x86 and x64 folders are sperate, just cut out the x86 folder, which should have it's own setup.
Although, you should go with x64, if possible.

New skeuomorphic logo.
A kind user on Discord (error.not.found#0474, also known as Credia Graphics) made a skeuomorphic version of the Eclipse logo, and I've decided to use it for the forum.
For now, this only applies to the Aero theme, however, I may be adjusting the logos for the other themes soon.

At the cost of further derailment the thread, that would be an awful lot of work. 45ESR renders things worse than UXP, so that would need to be modernized, as well as the usual "designing an entire browser from scratch-ish when you're already maintaining, building, and supporting 400 zillion b...

Yeah, you need a semi-modern browser for MEGA. Really perplexes me why so many people are still on say, Firefox 48 or 52 when Roytam1 and Fedor2 are here on this board sharing their UXP backports. https://forum.eclipse.cx/viewforum.php?f=35 https://forum.eclipse.cx/viewforum.php?f=33 To be honest, ...
