EasyAntiCheat crashing uppon game start.

Ive recently come across a very annoying bug, which i cant seem to fix.
Yesterday i updated MCC (Halo Master Chief Collection), but after the update the game would immediately crash when starting it.
The reason for that has something to fo with EasyAntiCheat and it just showed the error message below.
When i start the game in "safe mode" (meaning in a mode without anti cheat, but you cant play online that way), the game would work perfectly fine.

Ive tried reinstalling the service manually with the executable in the game folder, but there arose 2 more problems.

1. It didnt detect my game as "Halo The Master Chief Collection", but rather as "Current (Game 426)"
2. It didnt do shit.

Ive checked for file integrity, as well, but Steam wasnt able to find any violations.
Also deleted the Steam appcache, but that didnt do it too.

Does anyone know what i can do, but reinstalling the game (its 126GB large and i really dont want to do that )?

Actually, yes do bother.
I went ahead and reinstalled the entire game top to bottom AND IT STILL DOESNT WORK.

I dont know what it is please help

Stock Nvidia drivers version 473.04
But as i said, when i start the game without EAC, it works fine.
I just cant play online, which is what i mostly do in MCC

Contacted 343 support, but got the usual answer.

Ig id have to wait until the next update and see if it gets fixed.

Does the latest version of MCC work for you even @K4sum1 ?
Or anyone else running MCC on Windows 7 for that matter?

Well it ran last time, not sure why it wouldn't now. I'm currently in 8.1, could test there.

Its crucial for knowing, if EasyAntiCheat or 343 still support 7/8.1

A quick update on the mcc thingy:

I messaged 343 support again and did about as well as you might think:
"Oh i am sorry, but i cant help you due to Windows 7 bla bla bla"

Then i messaged them again a few days later telling
"Yeah i have finally updated to Windows 10, yet my problem is still there"
And they basically reacted the same
"We cant help you its an issue with EasyAntiCheat, so message EasyAntiCheat support"

So i did, 2 times actually, and i have yet to get an answer.


343 also released a small patch for the game a few days ago and i installed it, but it didnt fix the issue
