Get rockstar launcher working again

HEADS UP, ONLY TESTED ON WINDOWS 8.1 FULLY UPDATED NOT SURE ABOUT WINDOWS 7/8.0

Hi,
I managed to bypass rockstar games launcher artificial blocks.

1) Download these installation packages or source them from the internet. https://files.catbox.moe/pyz5ky.rar https://files.catbox.moe/j6v30o.rar
2) Install rockstar Games launcher version 1-0-83. (Do not open it or it will self update)
3) Open the launcher install location and make it read only. From security tab remove write permission for your account and all administrator accounts and click apply.
4) install latest version of social club or use provided one in the download folder.
5) locate the install folder for social club and open socialclubhelper.exe in cef explorer, head into import directory and select user32.dll change adjustwindowrectexfordpi to adjustwindowrectex. and that's everything.

Now your rockstar launcher should be working just fine. mind you you might need to do step 5 every update to social club.

I'm also including files to fix gta v since rockstar really don't want you to play on older operating systems. these are drop in replacements for the steam version. https://files.catbox.moe/31f0vi.rar

Well, tried it on Windows 7 right now and it doesn't work. The Launcher itself to be exact cause it did install i just couldn't launch it cause of a error with CMF. If that's something someone knows how to fix then please hmu.

Well I was able to get the latest rockstar launcher working on Windows 8.1, but no such luck on Windows 7. Even GTA V with battleye launcher works on 8.1

Rockstar Launcher is working on Windows 7 (you must use the last Win 7 compatible version, and prevent it from updating by modifying the manifest file in "%localappdata%\Rockstar Games\Launcher"), you can use the latest Social Club with no mods, you just need to enable VxKex for SocialClubHelper.exe (make sure to only use it for that process)

How do you edit the manifest file? I was exploiting launcher.exe.swap to fail the update.
also, latest rockstar launcher is needed for gta v online.
