Due to server slowness, downtime, and other issues, Eclipse will be moving to a more stable and efficient platform that should result in much better stability. There is no timeline for this yet, just want you to know what's happening with all the downtime and I have a plan to fix it.

Windows 7 on modern hardware

Unread post by pixcelpewds »

Hello there, lately i have been trying to install windows 7 on my new pc that came with windows 10 prebuilt
Windows 7 install page works fine but i cannot move the mouse or use keyboard. I also dont have a PS/2 mouse or keyboard that i can use.
Tried adding USB 3 drivers, It works but it stops working after it reboots and gets to the complete part of installation where it asks for a name to use on the pc

Drivers and programs i used:

NTlite
ASMedia 3.0 USB Drivers

Here are the pc specs:

CPU: I5-9400F @ 2.90GHz
RAM: 16GB DDR4 2400MHz
DISK: Samsung SSD 970 EVO Plus 250GB
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 6GB
MOTHERBOARD: Gigabyte Z390 UD

Look up the models and see if you can find Windows 7 drivers for any one.
