Due to server slowness, downtime, and other issues, Eclipse will be moving to a more stable and efficient platform that should result in much better stability. There is no timeline for this yet, just want you to know what's happening with all the downtime and I have a plan to fix it.

r3dfox.exe - Application Error

Post by ashley.disk720 »

The following error message pops up occasionally, but not all the time, whenever I visit https://whatismyipaddress.com with r3dfox 148 on Windows 7 Pro.

r3dfox.exe - Application Error
The instruction at xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx referenced memory at xxxxxxxxxxxxxx. The memory could not be read.
Click on OK to terminate the program

How can I fix it?

At the risk of you taking my answer as "stupid and sarcastic" (it is not intended to be), my answer is to USE ANOTHER WEB SITE.
As a Windows 7 user, you should not expect 100% of web sites to work, that seems a tad unrealistic in this day and age.

Try any one of these three:
https://dnschecker.org/ip-location.php
https://www.iplocation.net/ip-lookup
https://iplocation.com/

You should also tell us if you are using 32bit or 64bit version of r3dfox.
And if your Windows 7 is "real" or "extended".
