Due to server slowness, downtime, and other issues, guests can no longer search the forum or view user accounts. At some point in the future Eclipse will be moving to a more stable and efficient platform that should result in much better stability and the lifting of these restrictions. There is no timeline for this yet, just want you to know what's happening with all the downtime and I have a plan to fix it.

Those are just the TOP THREE.
We were being hit by homeless beggars DOZENS upon DOZENS of times each and every day!
I do "blame" the World Cup being in town!
I've visited DOZENS of LARGE CITIES and ATLANTA (during the World Cup) is by FAR the WORST TRAVEL EXPERIENCE *EVER*.
There was a HUGE "police presence". Cops on bikes. But despite the HUGE presence, THEY DID NOTHING to "discourage" the PANHANDLING.

Heck, we had a different HOMELESS LADY walking around with her "pancake flapjack chest" HANGING OUT and flopping across her waist.
Police witnessed it and DID NOTHING.

Sorry ATLANTA, you have demonstrated that you should NEVER be allowed to host "on the world stage" EVER AGAIN !!!

One of the "highlights" of our trip was getting a HOMELESS BEGGAR to walk us to a restaurant that we asked him for directions to, had him SIT OUTSIDE the restaurant while we took our sweet ol' time dining, then sneaking out a SIDE DOOR while he was still sitting there WAITING TO GET PAID for "giving us directions".

And of course pretty much ALL of the downtown shops and restaurants and bars all said basically the same exact thing - "don't give them any food, they eat better than all of us".

Which was one of my comments to the group I was traveling with, "That guy can't be homeless, he weighs more than three of me combined."
